The State, Columbia, South Carolina, Saturday, October 15, 1977, Page 12, Col. 2: Lancaster---Mrs. Nancy Carter Kirkpatrick, 67, wife of Neely Kirkpatrick, died Thursday in a Lancaster hospital. Born in Wilmore, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Dr. Jordan Witt and Mary Hartford Yankey Carter. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Sue Copeland of Frankfort, Ind., Mrs. Mary Ward of Columbia and Mrs. Frances Ann McCormick of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, George Walter Kirkpatrick of Roy, Utah; two sisters, Mrs. F. L. Larson and Mrs. George Waterman of Cherryville, N. C.; and 15 grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church, with burial in Union ARP Cemetery at Richburg. Mahaffey Funeral Home is in charge.
