Richburg---Mrs Elizabeth Reid Kirkpatrick, 76, widow of William Charlton Kirkpatrick Sr., died Tuesday at a local hospital. Born in Chester County, she was a daughter of the late James R. and Elizabeth Hollis Reid. She was graduate of Winthrop College and taught school in Gadsen County, N. C., and Chester County for 37 years. Surviving are a son, William Charlton Kirkpatrick Jr. of Richburg; four brothers, William Gill Reid of Clover, Dr. James R. Reid of Fort Mill, J. Reid Ellis of Charlotte and Rogers M. Reid of Richburg; and a grandson. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Union Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Richburg. The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the Union ARP Church building fund. Barron Funeral Home is in charge.
