South County Journal, Kent, Washington, Thursday, October 5, 2000: Dennis Wayne Kirkpatrick of Renton died Sept. 27, 2000, in Federal Way. He was 78. Born Feb. 22, 1922, in Haskel, Okla., he served in the Army during World War II and lived in Renton for 50 years. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a truck driver and enjoyed the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Kirkpatrick, in 1999. He is survived by his sons Corey Kirkpatrick of Federal Way and Rodney Kirkpatrick of Algona; sisters Eilene Green of Longmont, Colo., and Wandaly Rodriguez of Boulder, Colo.; and three grandchildren. No service was held. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Arrangements were by Greenwood Funeral Home in Renton.
