Mr. Smith was a graduate of the University of Illinois in Chemistry, a Salesman for the New England Life Insurance Co., Grand Rapids, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of Kiwanis Club. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Bryant Smith; two brothers, Hugh Smith of Illinois, Neil Smith of Ohio; an aunt, Dr. Elizabeth Wright of Calif. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1:30 pm in the Trinity United Methodist Church. Rev. Charles F. Garrod officiating. Entombment Graceland Mausoleum. Memorials to Trinity United Methodist Church will be appreciated. The family will receive friends Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 933 Cherry SE.
