The Evening Courier & Reporter, Waterloo, Iowa, Wednesday, March 14, 1923, Page 2, Col. 7: Mrs. Emaline Amelia Clason, 80, died at 10:30 a.m. today at her home 749 Parker street, after a weeks' illness from La grippe. She was born March 8, 1843, at Milwaukee Wis. Her husband preceded her in death June 26, 1910. Deceased had been a resident of Waterloo since April 1, 1917. She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Manchester, S. D. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Maude Castle, Waterloo, and three grandchildren, C. A. Castle, C. J. Castle and Mrs. J. H. Griffith, Waterloo; also three sisters residing in Milwaukee. The body may be viewed at Kletner's mortuary until Thursday evening, when the remains will be taken to Milwaukee for burial beside Mrs. Clason's husband.
