Sioux City Journal, Sioux City, Iowa, Saturday, November 23, 1872, Page 1: Chicago, Nov. 23---On Monday evening last the police found a man, bloody and insensible, on the track of the Northwestern Railway. He was removed to the county hospital, where he died on Wednesday evening. It has transpired that the unknown man was Edward Dorval, a mechanic residing on West Vanburen street, who left home to go to Waukegan. There is little doubt that he was murdered.
