Eileen Brewster Jewell was born 8 August 1922 at Fort Lewis, (Tacoma) Pierce County, Washington. She married George William Pauly, son of Leon Antone and Alice (Medlock) Pauly. The wedding took place at Corona, Riverside County, California, 17 January 1946. Eileen received a B.A. from the University of Washington in 1944. For a time the couple lived and worked in Abadan, Iran.

There were four (4) children born of the marriage.

The Orange County Register, Santa Ana, California, Sunday, May 10, 2015: Eileen B. Pauly, age 92, of Anaheim, CA passed away peacefully on March 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by husband, George and her sister, Shirley, and survived by 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one sister. Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Anaheim. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her honor to the Assistance League of Anaheim, School Bell Program, P.O. Box 4089, Anaheim, CA 92801.
