Johnson, 63, of Pocahontas was killed and Alfred A. Doerr, 39, of Oklahoma City was injured at 4:30 p.m. Sunday when Johnson's car crossed the center line on U.S. 63 about one mile north of Sedgwick (Lawrence County) and struck a tractor-trailer rig driven by Doerr, police said. Doerr was taken to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge. Johnson was not wearing a seat belt; Doerr was.
