Vada Iverne Stubblefield was born 15 August 1922 and married on 4 June 1942 to Robert Willard Jones, son of Grover and Lola (Johnson) Jones. Robert was a career military man in the Air Force and retired in 1962, which at that time, they moved back to Pocahontas, Arkansas. Robert died 23 Dec 1974. Vada Stubblefield Jones continues to live in Pocahontas, Arkansas (as of 1994).

There was no issue of the marriage.

She is survived by two nieces; Meredith Sanantonio of Orlanda, FL and Emily Tipton of Hot Springs, nephew John Stubblefield of Pocahontas and brother Perry Stubblefield also of Pocahontas. Funeral services were held in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
