Gert Ivan Pedersen, 58, of Barboursville, died Saturday, February 26, 2011, at the Martha Jefferson Hospital.
Born August 17, 1952, in Denmark, he was the son of the late Erik Petersen and Tova Niellsen Pedersen.
Mr. Pederson is survived by his wife, Cynthia Faith Pedersen of Barboursville; two daughters, Dana Pedersen and Wendy Pedersen, both of Coram, New York; one son, Gert I. Pedersen and his wife, Nadia, of Manassas; one step-daughter, Jennifer Ernst and her husband, Scott, of Pocono Summit; one step-son, Scott Magnus and his wife, Michelle, of Spotsylvania; seven grandchildren, Leah Magnus, Andrew Magnus, Zachary Ernst, Leena Rashid, Olivia Ernst, Gert Pedersen and Adam Pedersen; and one brother, Jens Pedersen of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011, at Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange.
Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011, at the funeral home.
