St. John, N.B., November 30 -- Watson Parkin, brother of the late Sir George Parkin, died yesterday at the home of his niece, Mrs. Chapman, and Rev. A. E. Chapman, at Oromocto, near Fredericton, in his 96th year. He had resided with Mr. and Mrs. Chapman for the last five years, but for the greater part of his long life he had lived on the farm at the old Parkin homestead in Salisbury, N.B. Mr. Watson Parkin was one of a family of thirteen brothers and sisters, of whom only one is now surviving, James Parkin, of Fairfield, Maine.
