Death
Glasgow Morning Journal June 15, 1865SUDDEN DEATH -- Yesterday morning a shoemaker, named John Gentles, residing at 7 Bluevale Street, was found by some of the neighbours in a dying state in his house there. Medical aid was at once procured, but the efforts made to resuscitate him were unavailing; he only survived a short time. It appears that he lived in the house alone, and had been ailing some time back.
Death certificate says the cause of death was Inflammation of Liver.
Informant was Walter Jameson, Cousin, 58 York St.
