SILVA. Arthur J. Silva, 82 of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Leocadia ``Lee'' Silva, died Friday (Dec. 13, 1996) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Massachusetts he had lived in Wethersfield since 1952. Mr. Silva worked at the Wandy Pie Co. for many years, he formerly owned and operated the Elm Bake Shop, Farmington Ave. Hartford, the Bon Ton Cafe and the Tobacco Shed both located on New Park Avenue, Hartford, retiring 20 years ago. He was an avid golfer and a member of the U.S. Golf Association, he was instrumental in organizing the Lake Williams Association in Lebanon and was their first president. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Patricia Livingston and her husband Michael of Burlington; a son, Gregory Silva and his wife Jean of Hillsborough, FL; a sister, Ethel Laplant; and a brother, William Silva and his wife Ethel of Hartford. Many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral is private, there are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice, 103 Woodland St., Hartford 06105- 1240. The D'Esopo Funeral Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
