Leon Parkin Steeves, The Parkins of New Brunswick, page 71: "It would appear that Solomon was married and had a family prior to his marriage to Eliza, since among the family listed in 1861 are daughters, Gabriella (19) and Sarah (15)." I cannot find any of the PEARSONs in the 1861 census.
