- WWII Veteran - Passed away peacefully February 16, 2017 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 96th year.
Samuel is survived by his wife Jean (nee Magee) and his son James.
He will be missed by brother-in-law Richard Dalby, sister-in-law Katherine Cluderay and nieces Wendy Gaboury, Lee Chapman, Eve Cluderay and nephews Mark Dalby and Alan Cluderay.
After serving in the Canadian Army during the Second World War, Samuel had a long career with Goodyear Canada retiring in 1984.
Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place in the spring.
