FRANK R. PEARSON.Frank R. Pearson, 70, a former materials clerk at the Bath Iron Works, Corp., died Saturday at Memorial hospital following a long period of failing health.
Born in Beaverbrook, N. B., Jan. 17, 1885, he was a son of Solomon C. and Isabelle Lydia Pearson. He attended New Brunswick schools and came to Bath in 1905.
Mr. Pearson was at one time employed as a fireman for the old gas house here and later worked for Swift & Co. for several years. He was also employed by the Kimball Grain Co. and continued with his duties there when it was changed tot he Trott Bros. Grain Co., working with both firms for a total of 13 years.
Last December, Mr. Pearson retired from Bath Iron Works where he had been employed for more than 20 years.
Mr. Pearson was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Grover Lodge, No. 168. He attended the former People's Baptist church, and in later years the Corliss Baptist church.
Survivors include his widow, Agnes Doyle Pearso; a daugher, Mr.s Samuel J. Coram of Bath, a son, Thomas H. Pearson of Bath; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Sherwood of Nixon Village, N.J.; a brother, Perley G. Pearson of Hopewell Cape, N. B. three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
