Lucy's family was in the same company that Thomas Sirls Terry was in crossing the plains. Lucy became very ill and died during one night. Her Father came and got Thomas to administer to her. She had been dead for one hour, but after much prayer Thomas brought her back to life.
! Thomas Sirls Terry married four times. As a wagon train captain he raised Lucy Stevensen from the dead and later married her. She had no children by him and after four years left him to go to Camp Floyd, Utah, to be a dancer. She died soon after this.
