History of Deerpark shows James married Esther DeWitt. Could he be the same as Jacobus?
Daughter Esther DeWitt married James Depuy, son of Benjamin Depuy, Esq., of the Peenpack neighborhood. They settled at Onondaga, where they owned and occupied a farm. He served in civil and military offices.
Three infant children buried in the old DeWitt Cemetery (d. 1827/28/29).
