William Thomas Welborn was the son of Willis Welborn and Lydia (Billings) Wleborn. He first married Margaret Matilda Wilson Dec 29, 1865. She was the daughter of James C. Wilson and Mary Penrod. Margaret died in 1877 and W.T. married the widow, Hannah Caroline (Marion) Austin Sep 9, 1877. Hanna Carolina (Carrie) was the daughter of James Marion and Elizabeth (Barbs) Mation. Carrie had two daughters by her first marriage, Willie and Lee Nora. Carrie and W.T. had seven children: 1. John Henry born Dec 27, 1878 2. Arlo born Jun 5, 1880 3. Carrie Ola born Dec 14, 1881 4. Myrtillah born Sep 10, 1883 5. Florence Dee (Dee BEE), 6. Maudie Greek, 7. Floy Ethel.
Carrie (Marion) Welborn died in 1901. W.T. then married another widow, Susan Alice Scott on Jun 11, 1902. They moved to the Robertson place Feb 5, 1903. They later divorced without any children.
