Howard Fitz Randolph left home on Jan. 5, 1857, and entered the firm of Wilson G. Hunt and Co., wholesale woolen merchants. This was the firm of which Peter Fitz Randolph, son of Asa Fitzrandolph and Rachel Vail, was a member. It later became Sullivan, Randolph and Budd, Peter Randolph then being a member of the firm.
