Marie M. Goheen, 68, Topeka, died Friday, Oct. 23, 1992 at a Topeka hospital.
She was born May 30, 1924 in Topeka, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Lenhart Reeb.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Christ the King Women's Club, was a Eucharistic Minister at the church and was a minister to the elderly at nursing homes.
She was married to Robert Goheen on May 8, 1947 in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Doug Goheen, Topeka; a daughter, Michelle Goheen Brauss, Topeka; two brothers, John Reeb, Los Angles, and Joseph Reeb, Crescent City, Calif.; three sisters, Florence Hilderman and Rose Niemacki, both of Topeka, and Ann Tibbetts, Santa Ross, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Goheen will lie in state at the Brennan Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Monday, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday, followed by a prayer service by Christ the King Women's Club.
