Genevieve Helen Goheen, age 87 passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at her home in Coldwater. She was born April 18, 1929 in Tekonsha, MI the daughter of Paul and Chloe (Rodges) Adams. She married Joseph Goheen and he preceded her in death. Genevieve was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sharon Goheen and several siblings.
Survivors include her children: Mark (Pam Welch) Goheen, Teresa Weakley, Thomas (Christine) Goheen, Dennis (Lola) Goheen all of Coldwater, Richard (Daisy) Goheen of West Point, VA, Tami (Steven "Leroy") Myers of Tampa, FL and Charity Goheen of Coldwater, 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, brother, Maynard Adams and sister, Beverly Estes.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Putnam Funeral Home, 11 E. Chicago St, Coldwater with Reverend Harold Jewell officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 12 NOON until the time of service. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy, MI.
