The daughter of Walter Charles Johnson and Lela Mae Goheen, "Dee" was married to Thomas Willard Plummer, and they were the parents of 2 children before their marriage ended.
Dee was the mother of 1 son from her second marriage. She later married again, and then wed Joe Richeson and moved to Cleveland, Tennessee and then Florida. She returned to Madison County, Illinois after Joe's death.
One of Dee's favorite activities was cooking for her family.
Dee died of lung cancer at her home on Easter Sunday 2014 at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 4 days.
She was survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law; 3 grandsons; 2 sisters; and 1 brother-in-law.
In addition to Dee's husband, Joe, she was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Sonnie and Marshall Johnson.
There was no visitation or funeral services. Graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m. on 24 Apr 2014 by the pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wood River, Illinois.

Delores “Dee” Richeson, 79, died April 20, 2014 at 3:05 a.m. Sunday, at her home.
Dee was born September 16, 1934 in Alton. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Lela (Goheen) Johnson.
She married Joe Richeson and he preceded her in death.
Dee was a homemaker. One of her greatest loves was cooking for her family.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Thomas and Susan Plummer of Mashpee, Mass., Jerry and Tammy Plummer of Wood River, Mike Ridder of Grafton; three grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Barb Freeman of Alton, Carol and Robert Womack of Alton.
Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Sonnie and Marshall Johnson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Scenic Hill Cemetery in Grafton.
