J L Johnston Died at Home
John Lott Johnston, 82, died yesterday afternoon at his home near Hendersonville, this state, after an illness of three eeks.
Mr Johnston was a retires merchant and was a reident of Barnwell County. He was a deacon of the Henderson Baptist church. He leaves many friends who will be saddned by his passing.
He is survived by his widow Mrs. Josephine Cave Johnston: two sons, J E Johnston of Greenville and John K Johnston of Chester; two daughters J W Langdale and Miss Ruth Johnston of walterboro, and one brother W B Johnston of San Antonio Texas.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at Elko by the Rev J F Mosley.
