In the name of God Amen the tweneth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred sixty nine. Abraham Mayfield being very weak and sick in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to almighty God for the same and mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men to die do make and ordane this my Last Will and Testament and that is to say Princepally and first of all I give and recomend to God that givith to me my body. I recomend that my body be buried in a Christian like manner at the descresion of my exector noting that at the general resurrection I shall reserve again by the mighty power of God if by touching a worldly estate where with it placed God to bless me in this life. I give and dispose in the manner following ---- in the first place I give and bequeth to Elizabeth my dearly beloved wife who I make my only ordained Executor of this my last Testament all singular my estate messujors and tenaments all my singular things and thing that I am possessed with during her life time to peaceably enjoy without any molestation or encumberance at her death I do give to Valentine Mayfielf and Ab Mayfield my well beloved sons two feather beds and furniture also the money I sold my land for or the produce of the same if their mother pleases to save it out for them freely to the projects to be equally devided both and I also bequeath the rest of my household godds stock and everything that shall be left behind to my beloved wife Deceased to be equally divided between all my children Valentine and Abe and all my children of them to possess and enjoy. I do hereby revolk and pinnanual all and executated by me in any was executed by me and conforming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I hereto set my hand the day and year first above written.Marriage
