Eddie W. Truesdell II passed away Thursday, December 23, 2004 in McDavid, FL.
Mr. Truesdell was born July 22, 1922 in Perry, FL. He was a former resident of Pensacola and a resident of McDavid since 1997. He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Coast Guard, the VFW, American Legion, a NYCO Security Guard and attended the Baptist Church.
Mr. Truesdell is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Anajane Truesdell.
Survivors include his son Eddie "Rusty" and Fay Truesdell of Falls Church, VA; two brothers, Raymond and Christine Truesdell of McDavid, FL, and Fred and Sylvia Petty of Clearwater, FL; two sisters, Dorothy Cox of Nashville, TN, and Margo and Jerry Huggin of North Myrtle Beach, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. F.L. Enfinger and the Rev. Dexter Truesdell officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2004 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Foster Kizer, Andy Capps, Scott Capps, Thomas Neal, Billy Ward, and Bobby Holland.
