Death
County Pioneer Dies Sunday; 92, at HiltonA Coleman County pioneer, Mrs. John J. Cave, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, January 5, 1963 [sic] in Baptist Memorial Hospital in San Angelo.
Funeral services were held at Winters today (Tuesday) at 2 p.m. and burial was in Hilton Cemetery.
Mrs. Cave, sister of the late Mrs. J. A. Stobaugh, lived on the Overall Ranch in Coleman County during pioneer days and was married at Glen Cove. She had lived in Hilton many years.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Millard Hunter of Hilton; three sons, Guy Cave of Sweetwater, Charlie Cave of Blackwell, and Nolan Cave of Hilton; and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Callie Layton of Coleman.
Mrs. Layton attended the funeral.
