"William Cave produced to the Court Certificate of his ordination as a Minister of the Gospell and also of his being in regular communion with the Baptist Church and there upon entered into bond with Uriel Sebree his security conditioned agreeable to law. A Testimonial is therefore granted him for the Solamnization of Marriages."

In the name of God Amen I William Cave of Green County and State of Kentucky being old and infirm but of perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testamentFirst I recommend my soul to Almighty god and as touching my worldly affects where with he has blessed me I give and dispose of these in the following manner Viz.
First I give and bequeath to my loving wife Jeriah Cave the plantation I bought of James Hill during his natural lifetime and so long as she remains a widow it is also my will that she should have all my plantation utensils during her lifetime as affd[aforesaid] Also all my stock of every description together with all my household kitchen furniture.
Secondly I Give and bequest to my two sons David Cave and Belfield Cave the plantation at the death of my wife Exclusively. At which period my desire is that an equal division of the balance of my property be made between all my children including the sum of four hundred dollars now in the hands of my son Abner Cave in Virginia.
Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my on Thos Cave and Turner Gibson as executors of this my last will and Testament revoking all others
In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand & seal this 3rd day of April iun the tear of our Lord 1825
