Norma Jean (Burns) Goheen - 71, went to be with the Lord Dec. 10, 2001, in Pueblo, Colo. Born Dec. 11, 1929, in Rocky Ford, Colo., to Louis and Estella (Stamp) Burns who preceded her, along with her siblings, Ruby, Joseph, Verna, Albert, Georgie and Thomas. Survived by her husband of 52 years, Marion Don Goheen; children, Steve Goheen, Micheline Goheen, Angela (Loyed Whiteley) Goheen and Doris (Rick Hardy) Goheen; sisters, Dorothy "Dot" (Delbert) Spencer and Grace (Robert) Singer; brother, Edwin (Norita) Burns; a special niece, Nina (Ray) Kaul; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Norma was employed by School District No. 60 for several years. During that time, she became the district's first female head custodian. She always displayed great pride in her American Indian heritage and was a tribal member of the Citizen Potawatoni Nation. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Visitation, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Friday, Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
