Death
Myrtle Albright, 96Former Belvidere resident Myrtle Albright of Arizona died July 14, 1994, in Arizona.
She was born in 1898 in Maine. The family moved to Illinois when she was a young woman. She spent much of her life in Belvidere before moving to Arizona in 1964, when her husband, Clifford, retired from Commonwealth Edison.
She was a member and past president of Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wears, Post 1461 of Belvidere. She was active in the Community Christian Church of Arizona City for as long as her health allowed.
She is survived by one son, Gaius Barr of Belvidere; one daughter, Helen (Duane) Dittbenner of Arizona; one stepson, Robert (Avon) Albright of Belvidere; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She had requested to be cremated, but will be buried next to her husband in Belvidere Cemetery. Clifford passed away in 1965. There will be no services. Cole & Maud Mortuary, Casa Grande, Ariz., was in charge of arrangements.
