Doris Elizabeth Billings, 81, died September 1, 2012 in Angelus Oaks, California, of cancer. She has been a resident of Redlands since 1956.She was born in Glendale, California in 1931 and graduated from Orange Coast College and attended the University of Redlands as Church Music Major. She received her BA and MA in education from CSUSB in 1979 and taught Junior First, First grade, and Kindergarten at Crafton Elementary School in Redlands for 20 years.
