Earl A. Goheen, Jr., 85, passed away, Fri., December 11, 2009 at his home.
He was born May 9, 1924 in Atchison, KS the son of Earl and Erma Robbins Goheen.
Earl faithfully served his country in the US Navy from 1943 to 1946 in the South Pacific on the USS Tennessee.
He married Jane Evans in 1952. She preceded him in death in 1987. He married Dottie Merrifield on September 6, 1994, she survives. Earl worked for over 30 years as a Glazier. After retirement, he owned a lawn and garden service.
Survivors include his wife, Dottie; daughter, Gale (Mark) Langley; step children, Deanna Piazza, Ron Smith, Mark Smith, Kevin Smith; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah and John Langley; 9 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren; sister, Violet Griffin; brothers, Carl, Marion and David Goheen.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd., Topeka, KS 66614. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 3033 SW MacVicar Ave., Topeka.
