Death
John T Goheen of Chalfont, Bucks County died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at Abington Hospital Hospice, Abington. He was 94.John was the beloved husband of the late Marie A Wisnieske Goheen, and father of the late John T Goheen Jr.
Born in Shamokin, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry and Emma Feese Goheen.
John was a former long time resident of Philadelphia before moving to New Britain in 2004.
He was retired Supervisor with Boeing in Ridley Park, Pa. John eventually went to work with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at St. Benedict's Parish in the Maintenance Department until his retirement.
He was a former communicant of St. Cecilia's Church and a member of the Young at Heart Club before becoming a communicant at St. Jude Parish in Chalfont.
John is survived by his two daughters, Beverly Goheen and her life partner, Laura Grant of Paradise, California and Maureen Simpkins and her husband, Wallace of Chalfont. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Judy Goheen of Columbia, MD; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren
