Death
Mrs. W. T. Barker, living in the Caddo Hills community southeast of Caddo, received a message Tuesday saying her son-in-law, Jim Betts, had met death in a tragic way, being killed while at work in a gin in Lubbock, Texas. Full particulars of the tragedy have not been learned. Mr. Betts was for many years a resident of this section. At one time he was proprietor of the City Garage, but moved to West Texas several years ago. The deceased was a fine young man and his old-time friends in this section will learn of his passing with regret. Burial was in LubbockDeath Certificate info:
