Death
Ophelia Ellison went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014. Ophelia was a beautiful Christian lady inside and out. She met her husband, Cleo Ellison at her church. A mutual friend had introduced them. Cleo was quoted as saying, "she looked like an angel with a halo." She raised her family and sang in their Baptist church in Haltom City. They were married for 73 years. They have three children. She dearly loved her Lord and her family.She joined Eastern Star in 1969. For thirteen years she was a secretary for the Riverside Chapter 834. She was assistant to the Grand Photographer, Cleo. Her most cherished job was being a stay at home mother and wife. She and Cleo traveled to Eastern Star conventions as photographers and took their cook shack to fairs and sold funnel cakes and curly fries.
She fought a long and courageous battle against cancer.
She is also survived by her sister Betty Beck and her husband Ben and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
