Osborne--The funeral for Allen L. Cornwell, 93, Osborne, will be at 10:30 a.m Friday at the Clark funeral home here, the Rev. Lucille Wehmeyer officiating.
Mr. Cornwell died Wednesday at Osborne County Memorial hospital.
He was born December 1, 1881, in Grundy county, Iowa. He came to Osborne county with his parents when he was three and had lived here since. He farmed in the Kill Creek community southwest of Osborne until 1963, when he retired and moved to Osborne.
Surviving are a son, Fay, rural Osborne, a brother, Cliff, Osborne, a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Grubb, Wichita, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Osborne cemetery. Friends may call until 9 pm Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Osborne County Memorial hospital.
