L. Maud and John Augustus were married in 1893. They had a daughter Lois N. who was born in Feb.1894 in Iowa. In the 1900 census they were living in the Falls City area, Richardson County where John was farming and by 1910 they moved to Adams, Gage County. In the 1920 census John had a barber shop and Maud was a dressmaker working out of her home. Their daughter, Lois N. and her husband, U. S. Beatty, were living with them. They were still living in Adams, Gage County, Ne in the 1930 censu and John still had his barber shop.
In the 1940 census, we are given what her first name is Ella Maud. She and her husband appear to be retired.
