LeRoy I. Bush, 88, of 1416 Marietta St. died at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Terry King Nursing Home after an illness of three months. Born in St. Joseph County on Oct. 3, 1874, he was a lifetime resident here. He married Dessie Goheen on April 10, 1912. She died on Oct. 31, 1954.
He was a retired employee of the Ball-Band plant.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Alice Ruklic of Osceola, Mrs. Margaret Surber of Palo Alto, Calif., and Mrs. Marian Clough of South Bend; a son, Hugh, of Dearborn, Mich.; a brother, Harry of South
Bend, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hollis Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Services will be held there at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. Roy Katayama, pastor of the River Park Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Southlawn Cemetery. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World.
