Fletcher (Special) -- Services for Mrs. Edna S. Arrowood, 81, who died [on] Friday [05 Jul 1963] after an extended illness, will be at 2:30 pm [on] Monday [08 Jul 1963] at Dalton Funeral Home chapel. Rev. George Gaidsroff, pastor of the Sterling[, Oklahoma] First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Mrs. Arrowood was born [on] July 11, 1881 at Quitman, Tex[as], where she was married to Charles Arrowood in 1898. They moved to Fletcher[, Oklahoma] in 1911.
She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter: Mrs. Carrie George of Ethel, Wash[ington]; a son: Ernest Arrowood, [of] Fletcher[, Oklahoma]; two step-daughters: Mrs. Willie Ahlwardt [of] Wichita Falls, Tex[as] and Mrs. Ethel White...[of] Lawton[, Oklahoma]; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
