Betty K Shuffield (390) Cave of VirginiaDescended from Martha Cave (1827) who married (1st) Willam C Knight (2nd to John Thomas Carver). Her father was Henry W (1800) and Nancy Jane Bass. Henry had migrated from Clarke Co Alabama to Clarke Co Mississipi and then to Milam Co Texas. His parents were John (1774) and Lucinda Causey, then John (1757) and Sarah Wilson Brown of Barnwell Co South Carolina. This latter John was a veteran of the American Revolution.
Marriage
Married in Clarke County on 26 December 1814 by the Justice of the Peace; in 1841. John B Cave her son has land adjoining William Glass. Could William be the son of John Glass, the reported husband of Lucenda Cave?Endnotes
