Mabel M. Cornwell, 95, of McPherson and formerly of Osborne, died on Saturday, April 13, 2013.
Cornwell was born in Osborne County on Jan. 2, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Virgil and Edna (Schrader) DeForest.
She was a homemaker, surgical nurse aid and pilot instructor.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Goheen of Salina and Cheryl Johnson of Canton, and her son, Dan Cornwell of Osborne.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fay in 2010.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19 at the United Methodist Church in Osborne.
Interment will be in the Osborne Cemetery.
