Obituary:Margaret S Goheen
Margaret S Goheen, 84, a resident of Fairways at Brookline Village, State College, formerly of Baileyville, Pennsylvania Furnace, died at the village on Saturday (Oct 9. 1993) at 1 p.m.
She had been a resident of Fairways at Brookline Village since 1989.
She was a graduate of State College High School and Millersville State Teachers College.
She taught at the former Tadpole School.
She was the last direct descendant of the Bailey family, who founded Baileyville. She was a farm manager at her family farm in Baileyville.
She was born in Rock Spring on Oct. 31, 1908, a daughter of the late Robert Hamill and Martha Seibert Goheen, She is survived by many cousins.
Graveside services will be at Graysville Cemetery on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev David F. Crow officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Bible Society, 1865 Broadway, New York, N.Y.
