Last Will and Testament of Ann AkersKnow all men by these present that I Ann Akers a widow of Jacksonville Morgan County Illinois of the age of Eighty seven 1871 years and being of sound mind and memory do make and publish and declare this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
lst It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expenses by fully paid.
2nd It is my will that one third (1/3) of my property and estate of every kind and nature shall be given to the Home Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church of the United States of America be held by said Society in its own absolute right forever.
3rd It is my will that all the rest residue and remainder of my property and estate not heretofore disposed of by this will shall be equally divided between the following named persons to wit:
Samuel G Goheen, Elizabeth Hovry Keiziah Goheen, (children of John W Goheen my deceased brother, Lycurgus Goheen, Catharine Goheen, Oliver G Goheen, and Anna Goheen (children of William G Goheen my deceased brother) to share and share alike, and if either of the legatees mentioned in this section of my will should depart his life prior to my death and leave any child or children them surviving then it is my that he share of such deceased legatees shall be divided in equal parts between the there or surviving legatees named in this will to share equally ad alike.
4th I hereby appoint Lycurgus Goheen executor of my will without giving any bond

Second It is my Will that a suitable inscription in reference to myself shall be placed on my family monument in Diamond Grove Cemetery ... also upkeep of the graves of my father and mother William C and Susan B Goheen who are buried on Peter Aker's lot in said cemetery
Third to my daughter Anna E Gehring, Rosa L Goheen and Lillie M Goheen I bequeath all my books and family pictures to be divided in equal parts between them, also to my said daughters in equal parts between them; Money, Notes and Bonds to be divided in equal parts between them
Fourth Bequeath to my daughters Rosa L Goheen and following real estate to-wit Lot 7 in Spaulding' subdivision, etc .. in fee simple
Fifth I also give to my said daughter, Rosa L Goheen, my feather bed, two good blankets, to good comforts, one of which is covered in green; three good quilts; one white bedspread; one cook stove one safe used in kitchen; one table used in kitchen, dining room table and five dining room chairs, one heating stove in parlor, one buffet one chiffonier, imitation of oak, one leather seated rocking chair; one cane seated rocking chair, one carpet seated rocking chair, fie new carpet rugs, one bureau, one office desk, perforated office chair; Library table and electric light thereon, one center table used in sitting room, imitation of oak; one bed stead, mattress and spring, juedin room over parlor, one feather bolster, two feather pillows, two bolster slips, four pillow slip, two sheets, the times given to her in this section of my will that are not specifically identified shall be selected by my said daughter, Rosa L Goheen and to be hers absolutely. The remaining carpet rugs to be divided between Rosa L and Lillie m Goheen.
Sixth I give and bequeath and devise to my daughter, Lillie M Goheen the following described real estate ...
Seventh I also give to my said daughter, Lillie M Goheen in her own absolute right the following personal property to wit: My cotton filled mattress my movable wardrobe, one mattress and springs one iron bedstead, two good blankets, to good comforts, three good quilts, one white bedspread, two sheets, two feather pillows, one feather bolster, four pillow slips, two bolster slips, one dresser which she used, three rocking chairs, ime imitation of oak one large mat in room that she uses and occupies at my present residence, one wash stand with oval front, one book case, one feather bed that she uses one chiffonier, one bedstead in imitation of oak, one base heater (stove) used in dining room, one Victoria, the articles of furniture herein given to my said daughter Lillie M Goheen
I give bequeath and devise to my daughter, Anna E Gehring the following described real estate, to-wit... I also give to my said daughter Anna E Gehring one parlor seat consisting of one upholstered settee, one upholstered round back chair, one upholstered common chair, one center table one base heating stove in sitting room, one couch covered with green, the carpets on floors in sitting room, one hall rack, dining room parlor room in my bed room carpet

I give devise and bequeath to my sister Annie V Goheen of Forrest City, Missouri, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500), to be paid out of the moneys on hand at the time of my death or out of the first moneys that may be received by my executor
Lastly nominate and appoint Martin H Gehring and Anna E Gehring, Executors of this my last will ...
