Birth
Marriage liscence indicated born in 1861, father died in 1855. The 1880 census has George in Lebanon County as a servant age 25 that would place his birth in 1855. Guardianship papers indicate that George was a child of John Heinselman and Martha. The order of children was Ann, George, Margaret and Catharine. It is possible that George did not know his birthdate. In 1866 cash was paid to gardians of John's children; M P Costhwaiter, Myer and Zimmerman, Martha Heinselman.Michael Wiland was paid in 1858 for George, Margaret and Catherine. Margaret was living with him in 1880.
