Hartsock her husband, of Buffalo Run, County and State aforesaid and Mattie V. Ray and Issac Ray, her Husband, of Penn Run, Penna., and T. D. Gray and Anna his wife, of Fairbrook, Penna, and Z. B. Gray and Margaret his wife, of the City of Williamsport, Pa. And Anna T. Hoover and Grant Hoover, her husband, of Bellefont, Pa. being the heirs and legal representative of G.W.F. Gray, Dec'd late of Patton Township, Centre County, State aforesaid, do make constitute, and appoint the said John F. Gray, the true and lawful Attorney for us, an in our names do ask, demand and receive all sums of money due and payable to the heirs and legal representatives of above named G.W.F. Gray estate and invest the same as may be directed from time to time by the above named heirs, the said H.A.H. Gray to receive the interest or income from said estate during her natural life. At the death of H.A.H. Gray this power of Attorney to cease and to become null and void, hereby ratifying and confirming all that the said Attorney or substitute or substitutes shall do there being by virtue of these presents...Census

Death
Mrs H A Gray, an aged and well known lady of State College, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Grant Hoover, in Williamsport on Saturday night from injuries sustained in a fall the day previous. Mrs Gray was quite feeble, and in attempting to go up stairs unaided on Friday, she made a misstep and fell. It is apparent that she suffered a slight stroke or an attack of vertigo, and although her fall was but a distance of one step she received fatal injuries. She regained consciousness afterwards and was able to explain just how she was hurt, Mrs Gray had been visiting at the home of her daughter in Williamsport since last June, and ad been planning to return to State College in a short time, in company with her granddaughter, Isabel Goheen, who a patient in the Williamsport hospital. Mrs Gray was a native of Ohio, her maiden name had been Miss Harriet Fiester. Had she lived until next January she would have been 76 years of age, she is survived by six children as follows:Mrs Thomas Hartsock, of Buffalo Run;

Mrs Frank Crosthwaite of State College
Mrs Grant Hoover and
Z R Gray of Williamsport. She also leaves three sisters:
Mrs J L Buzzel of Philipsburg
Mrs Smith, and
Mrs Johnson of Marion, Kan.
Funeral services were held at the home of Grant Hoover, in Williamsport on Monday evening, and on Tuesday the body was brought to Waddle for interment in Gray's cemetery. Mrs Gray had been a faithful communicant of the Methodist Church during her life time and her pastor Rev J McK Reilly had charge of the services.
