Miss Patricia Ann Goheen, 1358 Pennsylvania Avenue, daughter of Mrs Edward Patton, Northwood, and of the late Harry R Goheen, and James Melvin Schmidt, son of Mr and Mrs Herbert Schmidt, Northwood, were married Friday morning at 10' o'clock in the First Pentecostal church, 1200 Blair avenue.
The Rev Harold E Crosby officiated at the double ring ceremony. They were attended by Mr ad Mrs Edward Patton and the ceremony was witnessed by a company of close relatives and friends.
The bride a graduate of Tyrone area High school class of 1953, were a white nylon street length dress with white accessories ad small white hat. The matron of honor chose a blue suit dress ad small white hat.
The couple will reside at 1358 Pennsylvania avenue for the present. The bridegroom is employed by the Wolf Furniture Store, 1222 Pennsylvania avenue.

Patricia A. Schmidt, 75, Tyrone, died Fri., April 1, 2011. She was born in Altoona to Harry R. & Bernadine (Shildt) Goheen. She married James M. Schmidt, who survives, as well as sons: Terry L., Timothy J. and Herbert D.; daughter, Patsy Kirkpatrick; 9 grandchildren; 11 gr. grandchildren; and sisters: Sandy Schroeder and Mary Patton Dixon.
