Death
Last Wednesday, Sept 27, the death of the venerable Wm B McWilliams, near Graysville, Huntingdon County was wired to distant relatives. The ole gentleman had been a sufferer from heart disease for many months, but was in his usual health, able to be about and on verse with his friends until the day previous to his death. While reclining on his chair at the dinner table, surrounded by his family, he received a partial paralytic stroke from which he never rallied but to utter a few words. In less than forty-eight hours the message came that called his spirit beyond, at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 23 days.
Je was the father of twelve children. Of that number with, with a loving wife, survive the irreparable loss. For forty-seven he was a ruling elder in the Graysville Presbyterian church, which will greatly miss his wise counsel and the community has lost a useful and esteemed citizen
