Death

Emma Louise Heinselman was the second child and daughter of Jonathan Heinselman (who was born in Pennsylvania and Bertha Keim (who was born in Eastern Prussia). She had an older sister, Alice Ida Yaggy. They moved to Portland, Cerro Gordo, Iowa in the 1870's where she met Abraham in a rural school. She was married to Abraham Lincoln Spotts on 1 Jan 1880 in a double wedding ceremony with her husbands sister Mary Spotts Henrickson and her husband Levi P. Henrickson, and was married to him until her death in 1936. She had the following children, Mary Alice Sargent (1880-1960 [Long Beach, Los Angeles California]), Earl Milton Spotts I1883-1956), Bertha Olive Spotts (1886-1972), Charles Lynn Spotts (1890-1919 [of appendicitis]), Chester Paul Spotts (1893-1977), and Beulah May Spotts (1895-1915 [of tuberculosis]). Whe she died she was survived by many grandchildren and one great grandson (through her grandson Carroll Sargent (he is now 77 years old) She died of Dementia.
