INSCRIPTION: Hier leben die geben Peter Hosterman gebohren den 27ten September 1746. Ist gestorben den 27ten January 1805. Sein Alters War 58 Jahren 4 Monath."Here lies the type Peter Hosterman born on 27th September 1746. Is died on 27th January 1805. His age was 58 years 4 months." ~ Note interestingly this is written in German, but gestorhen should be gestorben and Monath is old English not German. The German spelling would be Monat. Could be either a typo on the inscribers part or a dialect?
