John Kikkert, 76, Randolph, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 1984, at Columbus Community Hospital.
The Funeral was held Friday at First Reformed Church, Randolph, with the Rev. John Brouwer officiating. Burial was in Randolph Cemetery.
Mr. Kikkert was born Nov. 29, 1907, in the Town of Courtland, the son of Nick and Elizabeth (Bandsma) Kikkert. He was married to Jennie Posthuma on Sept. 18, 1929, in Randolph.
He was retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Elmer (Charlene) Kikkert, Fox Lake, Eugene (Muriel) Kikkert, Waupun; three brothers, Louie Kikkert, Waupun, Case (Helen) Kikkert, Juneau, Nick (Harriet) Kikkert, Juneau; two sisters, Alice (John G) De Vries, Waupun, Martha (Henry) Vredeveld, Slinger; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one grandson, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation was held at Medema Funeral Home, Randolph.
